Ahead of Thanksgiving we wanted to share some of our favorite recipes. 

Sweet Potato with Honey and Cinnamon

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

2. Spread sweet potatoes out in a single layer on a roasting tray. Drizzle the oil, honey. Sprinkle cinnamon, salt and pepper over the potatoes. Roast for 25 to 30 minutes in oven or until tender.

3. Take sweet potatoes out of the oven and transfer to a serving plate. Drizzle with more extra-virgin olive oil.


Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Honey-Mustard Glaze

Farm Taste Brussel Sprouts


  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • Kosher salt
  • Honey Mustard Glaze

    1 Tbsp Honey, pure

    ½ Tbsp Mustard, whole grain

    ½ Tbsp Mustard, Dijon

    1/2 Tbsp Apple cider vinegar


1. Preheat oven to 400°F.  

2. Toss sprouts with oil, season with salt, and arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast until crisp-tender and bright green, about 25 minutes.

3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine all Honey Mustard Glaze ingredients using a whisk (or a fork) until uniform.

4. Brush both sides of sprouts with Honey Mustard Glaze, then continue roasting until crisp and golden, about 10 minutes more.

5. Enjoy

Green Beans Thanksgiving 

 Farm Taste Green Beans


  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped red onion or shallots
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 lb fresh green beans
  • 15 sprigs of fresh thyme
  • 1/2 tsp red wine vinegar optional
  • salt and pepper


1. Heat up a skillet over medium heat, then add the olive oil. Add the onion and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook for 10 minutes, until softened.

2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute. Add the green beans and thyme, and season with more salt and pepper. Saute for 15 minutes, until the raw bite has been taken out but they are still crisp and al dente.

3. Remove the thyme stems before serving, and add the vinegar for a little bit of brightness.

Cranberry Sauce

 Farm Taste Cranberry Sauce


  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • ½ cup water
  • 12 oz fresh cranberries rinsed and picked through
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 piece of orange peel just use a potato peel or paring knife


1. Combine sugar, orange juice, and water in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir to combine.

2. Add cranberries, salt, cinnamon stick and orange peel.

3. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently.

4. Continue cooking, for about 10 minutes, or until all or most of the cranberries have popped. I like to leave a handful of berries whole.

5. Let cool for at least 30 minutes. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

6. Can be made up to 3 days in advance.
