FarmTaste sources the freshest produce and delivers it to your door through a flexible, no-contract subscription plan or one-time purchase. From fresh fruits and vegetables to meats, poultry, seafood, and artisan products, FarmTaste offers you farm fresh produce delivery right to your door. We believe in partnering with our local farmers in the most efficient and cost-effective way, as well as ensuring our farmers and producers are paid fairly for their products. We pride ourselves on having a zero waste focus. Each one of our produce boxes is sourced, then packed, and delivered. If there is any excess produce it is either donated or given to our staff.
How does it work?
When you ask the question, "Can I get produce near me?", the answer is yes! Here at FarmTaste, we strive to connect with local farmers and producers to deliver you local, seasonal, and healthy produce to your door right when you need it. Our boxes are well packed for fruit and vegetable delivery with exactly what you want via your online order frequency and preferences. Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you are not satisfied, we will replace the product or issue you a credit.
Where do we offer fresh produce delivery?
For the best farm produce delivery in Chicago, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana, FarmTaste offers fresh produce delivery free of charge to most locations with orders over $49. For orders under $49, additional fees may apply.
Our Chicago subscribers (within 30 miles), will have their food subscription box delivered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
Non-subscribers in Chicago (within 30 miles) will receive their boxes on Wednesdays and Saturdays. To note, any order placed after 5 pm on Mondays and Thursdays, will be delivered on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
All deliveries outside of Chicago, IL (30+ miles), will arrive on Wednesdays. For anyone who purchases a Mystery Farm Box, your delivery will take place on Thursdays.
How much food will I get in my box?
You will receive a fruit, protein, or vegetable delivery that is fresh and full of what you need to make meals. For example, our Beginners Box comes with 8 to 10 types of in-season vegetables along with 2 to 3 pieces of fruit. The box will also include fresh herbs, plus optional freshly baked bread and your choice of protein(steak, breast, pork chops, tofu, etc.). Products may vary weekly. However, we do try to add extras, especially if we have excess produce on hand.
For add-on boxes, you will receive either a box of fresh juicing vegetables and fruits (4 to 7 types of fruits and vegetables), essential dairy (milk, egg, and cheese or butter), seasonal fruit (5 to 6 types), farm cheeses (4 to 5 cheese varieties) or sweet and savory spreads (1 jar of jam and a jar of pickles).
What types of produce are in the box?
The fresh farm produce that is included is seasonal, ripe, and healthy. There is a wide variety of vegetable delivery such as avocados, asparagus, mushrooms, potatoes, and more. As for fruit, you will find everything from apples and berries to pears, peaches, plums, grapes, or citrus. Proteins included in the boxes are of your choosing. We offer seafood, beef, poultry, pork, and for a vegetarian menu, tofu.
In some boxes, we include optional fresh-baked bread from D'Amato's Italian bakery. For add-ons, there are boxes of dairy, juicing veggies and fruits, cheese, or seasonal fruits to round out your order. We also provide artisan goods such as sweet spreads, pickled goods, and honey. Do you source the produce near me?
Yes, we do source the produce locally from U.S. local farms. Whether it’s protein, artisan goods, dairy, fruits, or vegetables, you can be assured you are getting meat, dairy, cheese, fruit, and vegetable delivery that was sourced near you. We work with 30+ local farms here in the U.S to provide you with the freshest produce. Through us, you can support your local community by purchasing high-quality, fresh U.S. grown fruits and vegetables.
How do I place my order?
You can simply place your order by selecting the box or boxes you would like here on our website. Once you have selected what you would like and the options you want, you will then select your purchase choice: one-time purchase or become a subscriber. As a subscriber, you will then choose your delivery for every 7, 10, 14, or 30 days. Next, you will click the add cart button. From there you can continue shopping or checkout.
How long will it take to get to me?
If you are a subscriber located within 30 miles of Chicago you will receive your produce delivery on Tuesdays and Saturdays. If outside of Chicago, your order will arrive on Wednesdays. Non-subscribers will receive their boxes on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Who delivers my food?
Our staff or furloughed hospitality workers will offer farm produce delivery in Chicago, Wisconsin, and Indiana. Your chef-curated FarmTaste boxes come straight to your door well packed with recyclable ice packs and in biodegradable packaging.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is always free for produce boxes over $49 within 30 miles of Wrigleyville. If under $49 or over 30 miles, there may be additional fees that apply to your order.
When will I get charged for a food subscription box?
There is no contract that locks you into a commitment of produce delivery with us. You can cancel anytime. When you make your one-time purchase you will be charged and pay on the website. If you choose to subscribe, you will pay for the first delivery and there will be one auto-renewal. We utilize Recharge to make subscribing easy and flexible for you.
Can I skip a delivery?
Yes, you can skip a produce delivery. You can customize your delivery schedule to suit your needs. Going on vacation? Not a problem. Just go in, change the date and you are set to receive your produce on time when you get back. We want you to start and stop your deliveries as you need with no fuss.
How can I cancel a subscription?
With no contract or minimum subscription length, you can cancel anytime you would like. You just go into your account and cancel with the click of a button.
What if I'm missing products from the delivery?

Is there a minimum commitment length for my farm fresh produce delivery?
No, there is no minimum length for subscribing to your fresh farm produce. You can customize your farm-fresh delivery to suit your needs. Maybe you want to try it for a month, or maybe just a week. Either way, you can go as long or as short as you like. Although, once you receive your first box, we are pretty certain you'll be excited and looking forward to your next fresh farm produce delivery.
