Our Carb Conscious Farm Box contains 10-12 types of in-season Fruits and Vegetables (approx. 16-18 individual daily servings recommended by USDA), Leafy Greens, Fresh Herbs, and an optional choice of Protein. It is designed to reduce the amount of simple carbohydrates eaten (e.g. bread, potato, etc.) and increase consumption of complex carbohydrates, like those found in fiber rich fruits and vegetables. Complex carbohydrates digest more slowly helping you feel full for longer, and can actually help manage blood sugar levels and cholesterol.

So enjoy carbs in your meals - just become more conscious of the quality of them and how they impact your health and weight loss.

Seasonal Vegetables: Beets (one large bunch), Broccoli (1-2 stalks), Brussels Sprouts (1 lb), Cabbage (one), Carrots (one large bunch), Cauliflower (one), Celery (one), Cucumbers (1 lb), Eggplant (one), Okra (1 lb), Parsnips (2 lbs), Radishes (one bunch), Snap Peas (1 lb), Squash (2 lbs), Sweet Potatoes (2 lbs), Zucchini (2 lbs).
Seasonal Greens: Collard Greens, Lacinato Kale, Leaf Lettuce, Rainbow Chard, Romaine Lettuce, Spinach, or Wild Arugula.
Seasonal Fruit: Apples, Blood Oranges, Blueberries, Cantaloupe, Cranberries, Grapefruit, Grapes, Pears, Persimmons, Pomegranate, or Tangerines.
Variety of Herbs: Basil, Cilantro, Dill, Mint, Oregano, Parsley, Rosemary, Sage, or Thyme.
Variety of Mushrooms: Cremini, Oyster, Portobello, Shiitake, Silver Dollar, or White Button (1/2 lb).
Variety of Peppers: Bell Peppers, Shishito, Sweet Peppers (1 lb).
Variety of Alliums: Garlic, Garlic Scapes, Green/Red/Sweet/Yellow Onion, and/or Scallions.
Variety of Tomatoes: Beefsteak, Cherry, Grape, Heirloom, Tomatoes On Vine (1 lb).
