Our Carb Conscious Farm Box is designed to reduce the amount of simple carbohydrates eaten (e.g. bread, potato, etc.) and increase consumption of complex carbohydrates, like those found in fiber rich fruits and vegetables. Complex carbohydrates digest more slowly helping you feel full for longer, and can actually help manage blood sugar levels and cholesterol.

The Carb Conscious Farm Box contains 10-12 types of in-season fruits and vegetables (approx. 16-18 individual daily servings recommended by USDA), fresh herbs, and an optional choice of protein, i.e. freshly cut steaks, gourmet chicken, juicy pork chops or extra firm tofu. Fresh fruit and vegetables are the foundation of a healthy diet. We believe that locally sourced, U.S. grown in-season fruit and vegetables are the most nutritious and flavorful. That's why we picked the freshest seasonal produce for our Carb Conscious Farm Box.
Products and their quantities may vary each week (plus we try to add extras if we have excess produce). Here is seasonal produce that may be included in April*:
