Our Beginner's Farm Box is designed for those who want to increase their intake of fresh fruits and vegetables. We recognize not everyone is comfortable cooking vegetables that require a lot of prepping.

The Beginner's Farm Box contains "easy" fresh fruit and vegetables that don't require a lot of prep work and beginner friendly. This fresh farm box contains 8-10 types of in-season fruits and vegetables (approx. 10-12 individual daily servings recommended by USDA), fresh herbs, plus optional freshly baked bread and your choice of protein, i.e. fresh cut Rib Eye steaks, gourmet chicken, juicy pork chops, fresh salmon or extra firm tofu.

Products and their quantities may vary each week (plus we try to add extras if we have excess produce). Here is seasonal produce that may be included in July*:

Seasonal Vegetables: Beets (one bunch), Broccoli (1-2 stalks), Cabbage (one), Carrots (one bunch), Corn (4), Celery (one), Cucumbers (1 lb), Eggplant (one), Radishes (one bunch), Snap Peas (1/2 lb), Summer Squash (1 lb), Zucchini Blossoms (1 lb).
Seasonal Greens (3.5 oz or 1 head): Lacinato Kale, Rainbow Chard, Romaine Lettuce, Spinach, Wild Arugula.
Variety of Mushrooms: Cremini, Oyster, Portobello, Shiitake (8 oz).
Variety of Peppers: Bell Peppers, Shishito, Sweet Peppers (1 lb).
Variety of Alliums: Garlic, Garlic Scapes, Green/Red/Sweet/Yellow Onion, and/or Scallions.
Variety of Potatoes: Fingerling, Idaho, Red, Sweet, Yellow (2 lbs).
Variety of Tomatoes: Beefsteak, Cherry, Grape, Heirloom, Tomatoes On Vine (1/2 lb).

Fresh herbs:	Basil, chives, cilantro, dill, mint, oregano, parsley, rosemary, sage, or thyme.
Fruit (2-3 pcs or 1 lb):	Berries (Blueberries, Blackberries, Raspberries, Strawberries), Cherries, Apples, Watermelon, Oranges, Peaches, Pears, and/or Plums.
Freshly baked bread:	D'Amato's Italian bakery (White Vienna, Wheat Vienna or Filone)
Your choice of protein:	2 x 8 oz Chicken Breasts, 2 x 12 oz Pork Chops, 2 x 10 oz Rib Eye Steaks, 2 x 6 oz Salmon Fillets (Skin On) or 2 x 14 oz Extra Firm Tofu. More Protein Options
